My story
I was born in Hong Kong in May 2004. After living there for a year, I moved to Brooklyn, NY where my younger brother was born. When I was nine-years old I moved to Brussels, Belgium where I learned French and attended the British School of Brussels. I returned to Brooklyn when I was 14 and joined the United Nations International School, where I graduated with an IB diploma.
During my time in high school, I attended Interlochen academy of the arts and directed my own short film and met my best friend.
After graduating high school, I took a gap year. I traveled with a group of people in Guatemala and Costa Rica for ten weeks. I then lived on my own in Buenos Aires for three months. After my gap year, I joined Carleton College and have taken psychology, political science, and language courses. In January 2025 I briefly moved to London as part of Carleton College’s Living London Off Campus Studies program. This past summer I worked as the only intern for New Destiny Housing’s property management team.
